A fantastic dinner last night at Mark Poynton’s “Taste of Alimentum” three week pop-up at the Landmark Hotel in Marylebone, London. Only one week in and the food is simply sublime – very deserving of the Michelin star recently awarded to the Cambridge original. Set in the cavernous yet beautiful atrium of the hotel known as the Winter Garden, the six course tasting menu is a superb value for money way to experience Mark’s cooking in the capital. Let’s hope next year brings him here for longer. Only two weeks left so my advice is book while you still can.
